Public Forums and Town Vote

TWO UPCOMING FORUMS:
 
March 25th, 7 PM, LOLHS: The Region 18 BOE and Administration will be holding a special forum to discuss the pre-k expansion. Their goal is to sell you on this $400,000 taxpayer expense and how spending $22,000/kid for 17 kids is "for our kids". 
 
April 1st, 6:30 PM, Center School: Superintendent Ian Neviaser will present the Region 18 $35 Million Budget for the 2019/2020 school year. Highlights include steady enrollment, a 2.29% increase, decrease in PE and Music to our k-12 programs and the $400,000 pre-k expansion. 

Both events are important opportunities to let the administration and the elected people on our Board of Education know that this is a fiscally unacceptable budget. Spread the word and PLEASE come prepared with questions and statements!!

Referendum Vote on the Region 18 budget is May 7th. This budget will increase your taxes!
