The city of Fayetteville passed a bond initiative last year that includes funding for a $30 million dollar police station expansion. These funds could be better directed toward other non-policing resources that address needs in our community, or we could decide simply not to spend the $30 million and put less regressive pressure of taxation on our community.

We are calling on the city of Fayetteville to find a way to defund this project or shift the funding in more community-care focused directions.
