Talisha Rhea: Replace Noelle Quinn with a new Head Coach of the Seattle Storm

The Issue

We are the undersigned Seattle Storm fans have seen enough of the repetitive mediocracy results after witnessing another season marked by inconsistency under Coach Noelle Quinn's leadership.

Each time I tune into a game—whether we're up by double digits, defending at home, or facing a sub-500 opponent—there has always been a nagging sense of uncertainty and frustration during the entire season.

The lack of intuitive game planning and the inability to make crucial in-game adjustments along with a lackluster of even using players off the bench have repeatedly compromised our postseason opportunities.

As one of the most loudly dedicated fans in the WNBA, we've watched in disbelief as our 2025 season ended in yet another one-round-and-done to the Las Vegas Aces in the most recent WNBA playoffs because there's been too many games where her pivotal decisions were mishandled.

We are tired and done settling for another round-and-done postseason, which is unacceptable when the potential for greater success is so close within reach, especially with multiple all-stars on the roster.

The Seattle Storm is a team with an amazing legacy of a four-championship franchise (led by our very own legend Sue Bird), featuring talented players who deserve strategic leadership that can adapt, innovate, and capitalize on our strengths.

To maintain and build on our championship hopes, we need a head coach who brings experience, keen insight, and the ability to foster team cohesion.

We call on Talisha Rhea to make the difficult but necessary decision to seek a new head coach for the Seattle Storm.

Hiring someone with the capability to craft intuitive game plans and the wisdom to execute real-time adjustments will undoubtedly lead us to the full season outcomes that align with our team's capabilities and fan expectations.

We would also like to have our newest head coach have the ability to develop and protect some of our most recent drafted players (including Jordan Horston, Nika Mühl, Dominique Malonga, and our potential 2026 first round picks) in addition to maintaining the continuity of key veterans and all-stars, including the likes of Skylar Diggins, Nneka Ogwumike, Gabby Williams, Ezi Magbegor, Brittany Sykes, and Erica Wheeler.

Please join me in urging Talisha Rhea to find a brand new head coach with its resume-based experience and ensure the Seattle Storm is poised for a triumphant future and not resigned to mediocrity.

Sign this petition to support our call for leadership change at the helm of our beloved WNBA team and together, we can set a new course for a bigger success in 2026 and beyond.
