** Mistreated Tenants of L&Q **

As tenants we have rights. As a Housing Association you have a Policy to follow..

Neither of these two are happening..

L&Q staff 'DO NOT' communicate with each other. They do not get jobs done or even started.

So far Caroline Pidgeon on London Assembly (Lib Dems) is involved with this case. We need all of you involved to listen to our voices and here how poorly L&Q are treating us Tenants! 

They do not take their housing issues seriously, leaving a good majority of their tenants to struggle unnecessarily from neighbourhood issues (drugs, abuse & noise nuisance) Damp & mould, sometimes so severe, tenants are in hospital.

Unexplained/high increase of service charges.

Littler & waste issues.

Poor maintenance of properties.

Changing the rules to each tenant.

Treating tenants like dirt & making them feel ignored and saddened.

Putting babies, children & elderly at risk by ignoring damp & mould issues, by ignoring those with disabilities/physical impairments/ serious health issues.

Expecting families to live in properties far too small and live with just one food cupboard.

Telling families in small properties to put objects across front doors & windows to make room (this is a fire safety hazard, as no escape)      

They Police have said L&Q 'DO NOT' follow the Policy of contacting the Police when they know of Drug abuse in the properties because other tenants have complained, they do not allow the Police to assist them in taking matters further. They Police have said L&Q leave tenants at times to argue for a couple years before anything is done! 

And sometimes, the Police do not do enough to help or resolve the drug, knife crime or gang issues in L&Q's estates.. sometimes laughing with the drug abuses/dealers when they are called by concerned tenants! 

Not allowing tenants who try to take their complaints further to progress!

ALL TENANTS I HAVE SPOKEN ARE COMPLAINING OF THE SAME ISSUES AS ABOVE!   

We want change!
We want respect! 

We want to live safely & happy in the properties by L&Q as paying customers!
