SYP apologise and tell the complete truth

The Issue

Following the articles in the media on Saturday 18 January 2020 (see links below), South Yorkshire Police (SYP) MUST

NOW TAKE THREE URGENT ACTIONS:

1 APOLOGISE PUBLICLY for their role in allowing the dire abuse of children to continue for many years in South Yorkshire.

2 HOLD THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO ACCOUNT for their failures - WE NEED PROSECUTIONS OF POLICE OFFICERS. Waiting for more than 5 years (since the Jay Report) is far far too long.

3 MAKE A FULL PUBLIC DISCLOSURE of findings to date in order to begin to rebuild trust - a process which will take a long long time.
