Implement the Humane Cosmetics Act of 2015

The Issue

Animal testing for cosmetics is a cruel, outdated practice. Although there are now alternatives to animal testing, and many companies have gone cruelty-free, several brands of cosmetics sold in the US still torture and kill animals to make their products. It is estimates that 100,000-200,000 animals are killed each year. These animals include rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and mice.
In 2015, AZ representative Martha McSally introduces legislation to ban cosmetic animal testing: H.R.2858 - Humane Cosmetics Act. This act has yet to be implemented, and it’s up to us to help it regain momentum. Please help end this archaic practice and end the unnecessary suffering of hundreds of thousands of animals by signing our petition today.
