We can’t stop development but we can make sure it's more suitable for the area! Help us to protect Monro park as a valuable green space for local families, a culturally significant war memorial for our elderly residents & popular meeting place by the station. 

The current proposal for a 7 story development will overshadow the park and block out the sun, there'll be a real increase in alcohol and antisocial behaviour and the plan doesn't adequately address parking, making the current traffic bottleneck into and out of Cronulla even worse. 

We want Sutherland Shire Council to reject this development and make sure any plans for this space take into account local families, the community use of the park and sensitivity around the historic war memorial.
