Stop YouTube from removing Community Contributed Subtitles

Stop YouTube from removing Community Contributed Subtitles
The Issue
Community contributions are essential to those who want to translate videos into another language, or create captions for people who have hearing disabilities. YouTube announced that on September 28th, 2020; they will be removing that feature from the website.
This change will result in hundreds of hours spent translating videos from professional translators, who were paid to do so, being thrown away like old milk. This change will affect people who as mentioned before, are deaf or people who do not understand a language very well or not at all. YouTube's solution for this loss is to work on it's "auto-generated captions". Machine translations are and will never be as accurate as someone who is a native speaker of any language translating it.
Without community contributed translations and captions, people will no longer be able to understand videos that are of languages they do not understand. Most of YouTube's viral videos are in English, and people across the world were able to enjoy them through the usage of translations made from people who were able to dedicate careers to translating them for a much bigger audience. We can't let YouTube disable this feature as it will cost translators their jobs, and people who don't natively speak English to be lost in translation.
Currently, the only responses from YouTube that people are getting about this topic are the same automatically generated response from a YouTube employee. This is an appalling move on the website's part, as they've proven that they genuinely do not care about it's community and userbase.
YouTube, you CANNOT allow this decision to go through, take one minute to listen to our words as a community to realize how wrong this change is. This is a decision that will not cost you a single dollar to reconsider this inhumane idea that just because a feature wasn't used very often means it must be removed.
