Keep animals deaths painless and quick

The Issue

Animal suffering has to come to an end. Youtube is a platform with a vast amount of videos, and lots of users. We need to join forces today in order to stop inhumane torture of animals, that is being displayed on Youtube. In particular, one Youtuber by the name of Ssoyoung needs to be stopped. Ssoyoung will torment sea creatures, such as octopus by eating them live, pouring salty sauces on them (Still alive) and grilling them (Still Alive!). This abuse can go on no longer. While eating “Live octopus” is a delicacy in South Korea, “Live Octopus” simply means the octopus is killed right before, quite painlessly. Octopus are extremely smart animals, but even sharks and other sea creatures shouldn’t have to have cheeto dust sprinkled on them. Worse yet, Ssoyoung has monetary gain from these videos, and plays happy, kiddy music in the back. This music could help gain child viewers, and those children may become desensitized to violence in the future.

In Ssoyoung’s videos, she “plays” with the creatures, as they are struggling for air. In one video, she runs around as a shark struggles to breath, and flails around on the floor. In another, she laughs as she pours hot sauce on squids, and they flail around, clearly in agony. In another, she smiles as she blocks live octopus from climbing on a grill, the octopus again in horrific pain. In other videos, she slowly chomps away at an octopus, the octopus in unbearable pain. Even if she kills the animal before seasoning and eating it, she kills them in the worst ways humanly possible, because some find this to be content. She kills a squid by making a small slit, and slowly pulls the organs out, giggling the entire time. With prawns, she twists them, breaking their head off slowly, instead of the proper procedure. Even still, her videos aren’t age restricted.

For these reasons, I plead that you contact PETA, Youtube, and Susan Wojcicki, and help us stop inhumane animal torture.

Thank You
