Support the walk out for HSHS!!
The Issue
We, the students of this school, are organizing a peaceful walkout to express our concerns about the actions and policies of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Many ICE practices have caused fear, family separation, and trauma within immigrant communities, including communities represented in our own school.
As students, we believe schools should be safe spaces where everyone feels protected, respected, and valued regardless of immigration status. We are using our constitutional right to peaceful protest to stand in solidarity with immigrant families and to call for more humane, transparent, and just immigration policies.
This walkout is not about promoting hate or division. It is about raising awareness, encouraging dialogue, and demanding accountability from institutions that impact real lives. By participating, we are choosing to speak up for our classmates, neighbors, and community members whose voices are often ignored.
We ask school administrators and local leaders to acknowledge our concerns and support open, respectful conversations about immigration, human rights, and the role of law enforcement agencies like ICE.
Signing this petition shows your support for student activism, compassion, and the belief that standing up for human dignity matters.
