In August of 2025, the employees at Sugared + Bronzed made history as the first ever unionized salon chain in the United States. As of now there are three unionized locations and while it has been inspiring to see these workers rally together in pursuit of better wages and working conditions, they have faced serious retaliation in violation of the National Labor Relations Act from the company. They have had their uniforms, bonuses, and raises unlawfully withheld and have dealt with intimidation and bullying from management. Signing this petition will show them that they are not alone in this fight for better working conditions and a collectively bargained contract.
