To the Members of Burlington Town Meeting,

We, the undersigned, are customers and supporters of Herb Chambers Kia of Burlington, located at 93 Cambridge Street. We are writing to express our support for the zoning bylaw text amendment proposed by Herb Chambers and for the proposed renovation of this dealership.

We believe that the renovation will be overwhelmingly positive and will bring numerous benefits to customers like us and to the broader Burlington community, including:

• Upgraded Showroom and Waiting Areas: Expanding and improving the showroom and waiting areas will significantly improve the overall experience for customers like us who are interested in buying vehicles or bringing our current vehicles to this dealership for maintenance. 
• Faster Service: By increasing the number of service bays, the dealership will significantly reduce wait times, providing customers like us with quicker and more efficient services.
• Enhanced Aesthetics: The project will beautify the property with a modern architectural design and new landscaping, contributing positively to the community's visual appeal.
• Pedestrian Safety: Sidewalk will be added to the entirety of the property’s frontage and many of the existing open curb cuts will be sealed off. This will provide more than 400 feet of sidewalk and significantly improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians along Cambridge Street.
• Stormwater Improvements: Introducing below-grade parking will result in an overall reduction in pavement, which will also improve stormwater management on the property.

We respectfully urge Town Meeting Members to support this proposal, which promises to meaningfully improve the customer experience for Burlington residents like us.
