PLANNING APPROVED  
We’re thrilled to announce that GRASS Cliftonville CIC has received planning approval for our ambitious project to transform The Oval Bandstand & Lawns into a vibrant hub for the community!  

Our plans include:
- A new café  
- Community not-for-profit bookshop supporting local charities  
- Wellness garden promoting mental and physical wellbeing  
- Free outdoor gym for all ages  
- Ecology projects to enhance local biodiversity  
- A range of new retail units
This means the government funding we secured can now be spent on these incredible upgrades!   Huge thanks to Green Councillor Tricia Austin, the Thanet Council planning committee, planning officers, and the hundreds of people who sent letters of support and signed our petition. Your voices made this happen!  We’re just getting started, but by next summer, we’ll be opening The Oval amphitheatre for everyone to enjoy!
