My partners and I have poured our heart, soul and wallet into creating a unique community space - "The Marketplace Kitsilano", in the heart of Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Carefully handcrafting and building every bit of the space, we dug into our savings and almost managed to pay off our debt in the short time we've been able to operate. As we navigate through the recovery phase, it's disheartening to receive notice from the city it is highly unlikely we'll be able to extend our permit. We will have to close our doors forever on October 31st.

This unique local spot has been a favorite meeting point for the community, offering a vibrant space fostering connection and collaboration among the residents of Kitsilano. Now, its existence is threatened. Representatives of our city must understand the impact of this decision on our community, which will lose a valuable space that promotes unity and local business.


Now, we turn to you, our community. Let's show the city the value the Marketplace Kitsilano adds to our neighbourhood. Our plea is simple - an extension of our permit to operate so we can continue being a place where community bonds are built. 

Show the city with your signature you are neighbor and want us to remain open. This is our only hope remaining in operation. If you've enjoyed coming to our space, we had so many more plans for the future!
