The Lehigh Valley area is the fastest growing and the third largest metro area in Pennsylvania, yet lacks a passenger rail system.
Not only would a rail system make local transportation more accessible and convenient, it would allow the Lehigh Valley to connect to the New York and Philadelphia metro areas for commuting and travel purposes.
The development and revitalization of the Lehigh Valley is exploding.
A passenger rail system would continue to spur new development in the Lehigh Valley, grow the economy and bring jobs into the area, and make the valley an even more attractive travel destination.
