Support the lawsuit against institutional injustice
The Issue
My name is Joshua Chronicles. I am a United States military veteran who returned to pursue a law degree so I could serve my community. Instead, Loyola University New Orleans violated my rights — and is now trying to silence me.
I was retaliated against after reporting misconduct and discrimination at the law school. My access to academic systems and evidence was cut off. Sensitive student-records were mishandled. And after I sought help, Loyola escalated rather than correct the harm.
I filed a federal civil rights case — Chronicles v. Loyola University New Orleans, No. 2:25-cv-02211 (E.D. La.) — to protect my rights under the Constitution and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

I am fighting without counsel.
Loyola has resources, attorneys, and influence. I have the truth, the law, and God. But I need the public to stand with me.
I served this country. Now I’m fighting for justice at home.
We are calling on Loyola University New Orleans to:
1️⃣ Immediately cease retaliation and restore full access to all student systems and records
2️⃣ Preserve and produce all evidence related to this case
3️⃣ Acknowledge misconduct and enter good-faith settlement discussions
4️⃣ Guarantee protection for future students who report discrimination
Universities preach “justice” — until accountability knocks at their door.
Please sign and share this petition to show Loyola, and the court, that Americans support veterans who stand up for their rights.
One veteran should not be left alone against a powerful institution.
Justice must prevail.
