I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out with an important update and a sincere thank you.

First, thank you again for your support last year with signing the petition in support of GALE Charter School. Your support helped demonstrate that people believe in the vision of a tuition-free public school option designed to help girls thrive academically and grow as confident leaders.

Here’s the update: we have addressed the feedback that led to our application being denied, and we are preparing to resubmit our charter school application by Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

What we need most right now (and why)
To strengthen our resubmission, NJ Department Of Education places the most weight on verified family demand, especially from families who live in New Jersey — and more specifically those in or near Passaic, Clifton, and Paterson.

If you live in NJ (or know families who do), your support can make a direct impact.

The 3 best ways to support GALE right now:

1. If you are a NJ parent/guardian of a girl in grades 4–6 (especially in Passaic/Clifton/Paterson): 
   1. Please complete our Family Interest Form and, if you’re open to it, our Intent-to-Enroll Form (non-binding, used to demonstrate demand if the school is approved) links provided below.

3. We are hosting community information sessions for families who want to learn more (Registration is within the Interest Form):
   1. Passaic: Thursday, March 5, 2026 - 6pm
   2. Paterson: Tuesday, March 10, 2026 - 6pm
   3. Clifton: Thursday, March 12, 2026 - 6pm
4. Write a short letter of support (NJ residents + community partners)
   1. If you live in NJ, a brief letter (even ½–1 page) explaining why you believe families need this option is incredibly helpful. If you are part of an organization, we also welcome an updated letter of support on letterhead.
   2. If you don’t live in New Jersey — you can still help!
      1. Even if you’re outside NJ, your support still matters. Here are meaningful ways to contribute:
         1. Forward this email to anyone you know who lives in NJ (especially Passaic/Clifton/Paterson)
         2. Share our interest form link on social media and in NJ-based parent/community groups.
         3. Connect us to NJ organizations serving girls and families who may be willing to provide a letter of support.
         4. Send a note of encouragement — this process is demanding, and community support matters.
