As passionate fans of the Edmonton Oilers, we understand the profound impact that every player has on the team’s dynamics and success. Hockey in Edmonton isn't just a sport; it's a lifeline that unites our community and fuels our city with pride and excitement. We're reaching out today to seek your support in advocating for the signing of Alex Formenton, an incredibly talented hockey player who can elevate the Oilers to new heights.

Alex Formenton brings a unique blend of speed, skill, and determination—qualities that perfectly complement the ethos of the Edmonton Oilers. His performance has been outstanding, showcasing his potential through remarkable agility and offensive prowess. He is not only an asset on the ice but a player of great character and enthusiasm off it, characteristics that we know can strengthen our team spirit both in the locker room and amongst the fans.

Statistics support Formenton's capabilities; during his time with the Ottawa Senators, he demonstrated his ability to make a real impact on the scoreboard. In the 2021-2022 season, Formenton tallied an impressive number of goals and assists, underscoring his potential to contribute significantly to the Oilers' lineup. It’s this kind of performance that could provide that extra edge needed to compete at the highest level and strive for the ultimate prize, the Stanley Cup.

By signing Alex Formenton, the Edmonton Oilers can ensure they have a forward who is not only promising but also poised to develop into a cornerstone of the team's future successes. Imagine the electrifying atmosphere in Rogers Place when Formenton breaks away with his blazing speed, leaving defenders in his wake. His addition can ignite the fan base and restore some of the magic that's distinctly 'Oiler.'

This isn’t just about adding a player to the roster; it's about investing in a future that all Oiler fans can look forward to—a future where our team continually fights to be the best, inspiring young players and uniting our community.

This signing is also showing support to the rule of law . Alex and the Oilers have fully supported an open honest and transparent criminal law process . The verdict should be the end of the controversy. Alex was unequivocally found not guilty and should be allowed to move on with his life and be employed in his chosen field where he has excelled. The Edmonton Oilers should not be disadvantaged by certain uninformed sections of the community calling for the Oilers to cancel Alexes contract.

We urge the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and OEG INC to take action. Let's not miss the opportunity to make such a promising signing. It's time to make our voices heard, to ensure our team is equipped for success today and tomorrow.
