Support the Domestic Servants Union of R.M.P.S.
The Issue
Imagine working everyday, for long hours, without a voice to express yourself. This is the reality for many domestic servants. These servants work tirelessly to support and manage your homes, yet they stay invisible, often exposed to abuse and unfair treatment.
We have seen these challenges they face firsthand and recognize that it is time for change. It should not be common for these workers to be put through physical, verbal, and sexual abuse from employers without any form of help until now. Our union has fought for them being overlooked and allowing abuse to continue.
Our goal is to create the R.M.P.S. Domestic Servants Union (R.M.P.S. does not have servants but they are supporting us and therefore they are in our name) to speak up for the servants rights and mental health. By making this union, we can ensure that they have a place to be heard, and to work towards fair pay, better working hours, and ending abuse and mistreatment.
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), domestic servants are one of the most underappreciated types of labor workers, with millions of workers globally experiencing terrible working environments. This is a time to step up and give our support to all the workers out there.
Creating this union will not only empower the domestic servants but make sure there is fair labor. By raising the quality of employment, the entire community benefits and leads to happier, healthier workers who can contribute to the development of society.
We speak to the local officials to help them see this union, which gives them the opportunity to change the rules for all servants in that community.
So, come and join us in this union. Come and help us and hear their voices to help these servants have a respectful and safe working environment. We need your support to show that abuse is NOT acceptable, and together, we can make a difference.
Please sign this petition to stand with the R.M.P.S. Domestic Servants.
