I am a resident of the Northwest Side of San Antonio, within Alamo Ranch in Bexar County. Our community on the Northwest side is vibrant and growing, yet we lack sufficient recreational spaces for our families to enjoy. We believe that developing a County community park off Talley Rd. would greatly enhance residents' quality of life by providing much-needed park amenities on the Northwest side of Bexar County.

Bexar County Precinct 1 has shown interest in this project, but they need our support to make it happen. A new park would not only provide an outdoor space for children and adults alike to play and exercise but also serve as a gathering place that strengthens our sense of community on the Northwest side of Bexar County.

According to the Trust for Public Land's ParkScore index, San Antonio ranks below average in terms of access to parks among residents (Trust for Public Land). This is especially true on the Northwest Side where open municipal green spaces are scarce for residents managed by Bexar County.

By supporting this petition, you're advocating for more than just a park - you're advocating for healthier lifestyles, stronger communities, and an improved quality of life on the Northwest Side.

Let's show Bexar County Precinct 1 that we stand behind them in their efforts to develop this community park off Talley Rd. Please sign this petition today!
