The Cumbalum Residents Association is thrilled to present an ambitious proposal to enhance our community’s recreational infrastructure. We proudly introduce the 'Cumbalum Community Circle,' a multi-use and accessible pathway envisioned to wrap around the existing sports fields at the gateway to Ballina Heights North Estate. Our mission is to create a community hub that not only serves as a recreational asset but also enriches the community's quality of life.

Our Vision:

1. **Strengthen Social Connections**: In our rapidly growing community, the Cumbalum Community Circle will be a place where residents can meet, interact, and enjoy shared activities. By providing a welcoming environment for all ages and abilities, we aim to build stronger social bonds and foster a sense of belonging among community members.

2. **Showcase Biodiversity and Beauty**: The pathway will offer inclusive access to the stunning biodiversity of our unique wetlands. We are committed to preserving and highlighting the natural beauty of Ballina Heights, inviting locals and visitors alike to engage with and appreciate the area's rich ecological tapestry.

3. **Create an Attraction for Visitors**: By becoming a sought-after destination, the Cumbalum Community Circle will stimulate local tourism, boost local businesses and share our community’s unique environment with a wider audience.

We believe this initiative will transform our neighbourhood into a more connected, inclusive, and attractive place for residents and visitors, attracting walkers, artists, families, nature lovers and photographers. However, to turn this shared dream into reality, we need Council approval. We do not want donations for the project at this stage. All we need is your signature to demonstrate to the Ballina Shire Council the community’s desire and commitment to bring the Cumbalum Community Circle to life. Once approved we will attract funding from different sources to bring the project to life.
