Support 'The Coosie' being redeveloped into a Community Sports Hub by Tullibody St. Serf's
The Issue
'The Coosie' has lain unused for years, since pre-pandemic times, despite Clackmannanshire Council still referring to it as a football pitch. We want to change that.
There is a distinct lack of bookable all-weather pitches available in the Wee County. Locally, only Lornshill Academy offers such a facility - our plans involve the installation of a FIFA-grade astroturf surface, proper changing facilities on site, storage containers and a short boundary fence to protect the new pitch. There is potential to add small spectator stands and other community useable indoor spaces as time goes on.
Having lodged an application for Community Asset Transfer, Tullibody St. Serf's Football Club intend to take over running of 'The Coosie' and build up a local sports hub facility open to all in Tullibody & surrounding areas.
