Peeping Tom records woman undressing in Forever 21 fitting room.

On Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at approximately 6:15pm I was trying on clothes in the co-ed dressing room at the Forever 21 store located at the Sawgrass Mills mall in Sunrise, Florida when I noticed a man's shoe coming out from under the dressing room beside me. It caught my eye because of the reflective camera lens the perverted man had taped on the top of his shoe! I immediately informed the Forever 21 employees to get security and the dressing room attendant knocked on his door. He opened the door, extremely nervous, and tried to leave when I questioned him about the camera on his shoe he was using to video tape me undressing! I grabbed him by his wrists as he tried to flee and held him there for as long as I could, but after a couple minutes of fighting with me he broke free and ran out of the store! I was still in the store's bathing suit and yelled for the employees or someone to stop him and yet not one person helped. I had the police come and filed a report with the City of Sunrise Police Department. They do have him on camera running out of the store but are trying to get a better image of him via the mall's security cameras. I'm extremely upset about this whole situation because it could have easily been avoided if Forever 21 had better dressing room policies to protect their customers. There should be separate areas for women and men to try on clothing (after all, they even have two separate sides already). I'm sharing my story even though it is embarrassing because I do not want anyone else to have to go through the emotional pain and suffering I did. Who knows how many women this disgusting pervert has violated before or how many young girls he will continue to videotape in dressing rooms?!  I have done hours of research on my own and found countless incidences just like mine at Forever 21 stores, including the same store in Sunrise! I am working with the police and local news stations to the best of my ability to try and get this pervert caught. I will not give up and will pursue this until policies are changed for customers to feel safe in retail establishments.  I have tried to contact Forever 21’s customer service department, corporate team, and human resources department several times.  I have written to Forever 21 a formal complaint letter, called and left messages, posted via Twitter and Facebook to the company, and yet I have received NO response from Forever 21.  I believe the only way Forever 21 will listen and change their current dressing room policies which are negligent in regards to their customer's safety will be by gathering the support of others to petition that their dressing room areas for men and women should be separate.  So please, take a moment and sign this petition so something positive may come out of this terrible situation.  So that this type of perverted behavior is not condoned or facilitated ever again.
