It's clear there will be a fight on our hands again this year. The Baltimore Sun published an article today about the upcoming School Board forum. The School police are encouraging the Board to request a policy change and allow its officers to wear firearms in our children's schools. The School Board needs to hear from us! If you haven't done so already, please email them at Policyreview@bcps.k12.md.us to let them know you disagree with this policy! If they receive enough response from us and we show up at the School Board meeting next Thursday, we can stop this initiative before it gets too far.
