Living in Australia, i think we all know the history of the australian government In 1871 when The Australian Board developed controls over where Aboriginal people could live and work, what they could do and who they could meet or marry. They removed Aboriginal children from their families, starting the process that created the Stolen Generations.
Aunty Beverley Whyman Moore was punished, she was disobedient by giving birth to a beautiful baby boy out of wedlock, she asked to hold her first born son but denied. the australian government proceeded with her first born son anyway and handed Russell over to the salvation army organisation. by the age of 5 years Russell was taken by The Savage family and given A new name A new mother/family and A new country while Aunty Beverley Moore begged the government for her son back but denied again and again. Years and Years have passed and still no sign of her son until she was given notice that her 26 year old son was Sentenced To Die in America, for the crime of rape and murder of Barbara Ann Barber, The Sentence was overturned to life in prison with 25+years of incarceration in which Russell Thomas Moore aka James Hudson Savage has done and continues on with 33 years now in 2020 at the age of 57.
We the australian people of aboriginal and non aboriginal Seek the Ongoing Injustices he faces at the age of 57 in a Florida State Apalachee East Prison, he is given a fate worse than death, a slow death A life sentence where rehabilitation is a failure for Lifers when working to reduce their life sentences is impossible. Russell is fighting for his life over there but he continues to talk to all multicultural nations and at the same time keeps to himself.
The Florida Government keeps rejecting his plea to come home on grounds that he is a threat to society while taking funds from american taxpayers for foreigners to stay locked up when they should be returned to their countries, But continuing their policies by Releasing Brutal Inmates that form gangs and Infest those over incarcerated prisons with crime, to reoffend again in their american society then sent back to prison, and then the Florida Prison Government Policies Fail Again, Fail Their American Communities with No Reduced Crimes(That is a Fact).
With everything that is happening with Injustices on All Lands, all over the World, it is drowning out the real issue of US Indigenous Australians that face today of not being Seen or Go UNHEARD without TRUTH and JUSTICE by their Governments who say to move forward, But Russell Moore is Waiting for the Time when the Australian Federal and State Victoria Government to right the wrongs they did to him, his mother and families while with thoughts he will never make it home by a government who has showed no interest or no remorse of stealing aboriginal children from their mothers.
