The ZBA ruling was based on emotion and anecdotes, not facts and data. In May 2013, all nine precincts voted against removal of the town's wind turbines. The Falmouth Board of Health sent your board a letter (dated 10/19/15) stating that public health research finds wind turbines are harmless to nearby residents. Major studies have shown no impact on property values. The 300+ acre wastewater plant is an appropriate location for wind turbines. The threat of climate change grows clearer every year - especially for coastal communities. Let's NOT waste millions of dollars to remove clean energy infrastructure.
