We want to take a moment to provide a clear update on community engagement and petition activity surrounding this project.

To date, we have received 2,533 verified Change.org signatures, in addition to hundreds of physical signatures collected in the community from residents, stakeholders, and local supporters along the corridor. This reflects a broad and consistent base of support for responsible redevelopment, improved safety measures, and long-term investment in the area.

In comparison, the opposing petition currently reflects approximately 1,113 signatures on Change.org.

This demonstrates that support for the project at 5395Cobington Hwy. is more than double that of opposition, underscoring a strong and growing consensus among residents who are engaged in this process and interested in positive, structured development rather than continued vacancy and decline.

We recognize that there are differing perspectives within the community, and we respect the right of all residents to express their views. At the same time, the scale of participation in support of this initiative reflects a clear and meaningful level of confidence in the project’s direction and intent.

Despite the challenges that naturally come with any redevelopment effort, we remain committed and steady. Our focus continues to be on transparency, community engagement, safety, and delivering a project that brings long-term value to the corridor.
