Today, we are proud to announce that our petition has surpassed 1,000 supporters.

This milestone represents more than signatures—it represents residents, business owners, stakeholders, and community members who believe in the importance of responsible redevelopment, economic investment, public safety, and revitalization throughout DeKalb County.

Over the past several months, this project has generated significant public discussion. We have participated in community meetings, listened to concerns, engaged with stakeholders, revised aspects of the proposal, and remained committed to open dialogue. As with any major community development effort, there have been differing opinions and passionate viewpoints from all sides.

Despite challenges, public opposition, protests, and unexpected setbacks at the property itself, our commitment has never wavered. In fact, every challenge has reinforced the importance of continuing the conversation about how we can transform underutilized properties into productive community assets that serve residents and contribute to a stronger future.
