🚨 COMMUNITY UPDATE 🚨
THANK YOU, DEKALB COUNTY!
Our community petition has officially surpassed 500 signatures - and we are incredibly grateful for every supporter who believes in economic redevelopment, revitalization, and responsible investment in our community.
This milestone proves something important:
People are ready to see dormant properties restored, commercial corridors revitalized, and the standard raised for development in our area.
This proposal was never meant to be “business as usual.”
OUR VISION
A professionally managed multi-use redevelopment designed around:
✔ Enhanced security
✔ Community engagement
✔ Economic growth
✔ Long-term corridor stability
✔ Responsible reinvestment

COMMUNITY SAFETY ADDENDUM
We heard the community’s concerns regarding public safety, effectiveness, and response times in the corridor and surrounding areas - and we responded with action through our proposed Community Safety Addendum. It includes dedicated no‑cost community‑serving operational space that may support public safety coordination or nonprofit/community use depending on need and agency interest.
We are happy to inform those with these safety concerns that the DeKalb Police Department has responded to our proposal. Here is their message:
“Thank you for reaching out to us with your proposal. We value community partnership and welcome the opportunity to discuss this further.
Respectfully,
Matthew J. Ferreira
Major – Chief of Staff”
