Support Property Rights and Local Family Business: Support the Pine Preservation Cabins

To our friends, neighbors, fellow community members, and Americans,

We live in a country built on the foundation of liberty, hard work, and the fundamental right of individuals to responsibly use their own land. Today, we have an opportunity to stand up for those very principles right here in Indian Hills.

Ben and Sarah Cherry are a local family trying to build a future for themselves and our community. They are working to breathe new life into 25 acres of commercially zoned land at 5200 Parmalee Gulch (the former Messiah Mountain retreat). Their vision? The Pine Preservation Cabins—a quiet, low-impact retreat featuring just 14 small, eco-friendly cabins designed to preserve the natural beauty of the land.

Unfortunately, a vocal group of critics is circulating a petition to block them—despite the fact that none of these opponents live adjacent to the property.

• Fully complies with all local zoning, building, and health department restrictions.
• Prioritizes safety with a professional forester-approved wildfire mitigation plan, on-site fire hydrants, and advanced sprinkler systems.
• Conserves resources by introducing no-laundry policies and zero additional wells, keeping water usage exceptionally low.
• Protects nature by leaving nearly 90% of the site completely natural and untouched.
