As a resident of Thurston County, I firmly support the rights of people to peacefully assemble, march, protest, and engage in nonviolent civil disobedience.  I  also unequivocally denounce and disavow violence and vandalism in protests.

I call on business, faith, nonprofit, government, and neighborhood leaders to do the same.
