We Voiced our Position to the BART Board

Michael LokOakland, CA, United States

Apr 15, 2016
Dear Community,
Yesterday morning at 9:30am Asian Health Services (AHS), East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) packed the BART Board Meeting.
Our presence included over 30 AHS patients along with staff from our partner organizations and other allies. The room was so full that some of our supporters couldn't enter the board room due to room capacity issues. Our presence was large but respectful, our goal was to make sure the BART Board of Directors and Staff knew our positions.
Special thanks to our allies who spoke during public comment in support of AHS & EBALDC's plan.
