Dear Oakland Chinatown supporters, Between the online and physical petitions, we've collected close to 800 signatures so far. In the picture above, Asian Health Services staffperson Tina Diep along with the Cantonese and Mandarin Patient Leaders were at Wa Sung Community Services Club Annual Pancake Breakfast from 8am to Noon on Easter Sunday collecting signatures, outreaching for Covered California and registering people to vote. We need your help to keep the momentum for this effort by continuing to share this petition with your networks. Use the hashtag #saveoakchinatown People from all over the country have supported this petition because they have experienced instances when Chinatowns and ethnic communities across the country have shrunk or disappeared altogether and don't want to see the same thing happen in Oakland Chinatown.
