I was writing to share my support for Mr. Flores, another amazing teacher at Narbonne High School who is being let go this monday September 22, 2025 from all his positions. He was told that there are no funds to pay for his position. The reason being, Low school enrollment.. Mr Flores has been at this school since August 2020. He contributed so much during the pandemic, being there ready to help all of us get through the school year. He made online school fun.

Mr Flores wasnt just a history teacher he was one of the wrestling coaches.  He has inspired countless students to push their limits and achieve their best both on and off the mat. He is also a very big part in the dual language program. He fosters a love for language and culture, creating a more connected and understanding School community. hes also deeply involved in Civic engagement empowering students to become active and informed citizens

Ive seen how Mr. Flores dedication for learning and his students extend beyond his classroom. He has a great bond with his students which can lead to them feeling safe and ready to learn with him. He always makes sure that everyone is on track, not leaving anyone behind. He volunteers countless hours as a decathlon judge supporting academic excellence and encouraging our students to strive for greatness.

Mr. Flores' contributions to Narbonne High School are invaluable. He is more than just a history teacher. He is a mentor, a role model, and a true asset to our community. I urge you all to recognize his hard work and education and continue to support him in his role at Narbonne.
