Owned by Parsippany residents Cassara Grasso and Dr. Shaun Astorga, Happy Daze Boutique LLC, is aspiring to be the first locally owned, AAPI woman-led small business cannabis dispensary in Parsippany, New Jersey. 

We petitioned the Parsippany-Troy Hills Town Council to amend the cannabis ordinance to permit state licensed cannabis dispensaries to operate in town on March 7th, 2023 with Councilman Justin Musella showing support.

We will continue to advocate for cannabis dispensaries and education in our hometown because supporting locally owned cannabis retail businesses will help Parsippany and its residents thrive!

Cannabis retail will promote economic development. 2% of all sales will go directly to Parsippany as tax revenue (estimated to be hundreds of thousands of dollars per year). This could potentially give Parsippany residents a break from tax increases for years to come!

Cannabis retail will encourage local job growth. In addition to hiring retail staff, contractors will be needed for ancillary services such as construction, plumbing, paving, engineering, and architectural work.

This study shows a 19% decline in crime rates in areas where dispensaries are located.

A Rutgers study indicates that home sales prices increase by 1.6% or $6,366 where dispensaries are located.

Parsippany has significant commercial property vacancies. There are a number of vacant commercial properties away from schools, residences and places of worship that are suitable locations for cannabis dispensaries.

Residents will benefit from increased security and safety. By state law, all dispensaries are required to have controlled access to the store with professional onsite security personnel and internal/external video surveillance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

70% of New Jerseyans voted YES for cannabis legalization. The majority of Parsippany residents also voted in favor of cannabis.
