No parent should fear a preventable tragedy.

Children in daycare deserve to be safe, yet current rules do not always require protective barriers—like bollards, reinforced fencing, or secure planters—to keep vehicles away from daycare entrances and play areas.

Liam’s Law would change this by requiring all licensed child care centres in Toronto (and across Ontario) to install protective barriers wherever facilities are next to streets, parking lots, or driveways.

Children and staff remain at risk of vehicle-related accidents.

Barriers are affordable, practical, and proven to save lives.

Parents deserve peace of mind knowing their children are protected where they learn and play.
