Jersey City's ONLY Ice Rink is once again 'closed' due to equipment failure resulting from a lack of annual maintenance by the Jersey City Government. This occurs every year but this time, it is closed for the entire winter season. The ice rink is not just used for public ice skating sessions, but also used by many organizations, including non-profits, to teach our children sports like figure skating, ice hockey and much more. 

It is important that our elected officials realize how important this facility is to Jersey City's youth. This continued neglect, specifically related to the ice rink's maintenance requirements, must be highlighted and we need your support to show how many kids and families this affects. Please sign our petition, share with your friends, and send it to your own local city rep. We will also be sending this petition to the Mayor in the hope that enough of our elected representatives, in a position of power, understand that the Pershing Field Ice Rink facility needs their support.

Our collective action is required now so we can enable our youth to participate in the 2023/24 winter season at Pershing Ice Rink.
