Village of Mamaroneck Residents, 

We respectfully ask you to sign a petition in support of Jenifer O'Neill, director of the village library.

Jennifer was recently served with a 30 day suspension and will be given a hearing to determine her future employment in the coming days.

The suspension came as quite a surprise to Jennifer considering her record with the library is impeccable.

Jennifer has served the community tirelessly. Now she needs us to be there for her.

Jennifer was key in uncovering the theft and fraud at Mamaroneck Public Library which went on for years before she was hired.

Jennifer helped secure a loan from the Village and has fought to keep the library open to serve our residents.

Jennifer kept the library operating during Covid to meet the needs of the community.

Jennifer kept the library open so neighbors had a safe place to congregate following the flood of 2021.

Jennifer led the staff to be recognized as the Best Library in Westchester 2022.

Jennifer has never had any disciplinary action against her.

Jennifer also proudly serves as Vice President of the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce in order to strengthen our local small businesses. 

Please help us right the injustice of the library board. These actions set a terrible example to the community and reflect poorly on us all.
