Jacob Conners is not only a Syracuse, NY native for 33 years, but a devoted husband, father, and advocate for our city. Born, raised, schooled, worked, met disability struggles, started a family, and was wed here, he is deeply intertwined with the fabric that makes up our city. He has experienced its highs and lows, its celebrations and its struggles. From this unique perspective, he has seen many issues plaguing our city - primarily employment and affordable housing, which are becoming increasingly crucial as many of our residents face homelessness. Jacob Conners, as a resident who deeply cares about his community, believes that he has the plans to take Syracuse from its current state to a 100 in terms of livability and communal prosperity.

Were also asking you provide Syracuse, NY with funding to upgrade our schools, roads, and buses to 2025 safety requirements when it comes to schools were having issue's we just lost a beloved nighttime janitor named Bryan Deforge due to a carbon monoxide leak in the schools cafeteria Syracuse, NY praises him if it wasn't for his passion for his job a bunch of kids could have faced bad injuries or death due to carbon monoxide poisoning there was no carbon monoxide detector why is this in 2025 schools don't have carbon monoxide detectors that needs to change so by inspecting all schools for lead paint, dust, or plumbing as well as fire, carbon monoxide detectors, as well as mass shooting security upgrades we need severely updated schools safety features as well as a memorial statue for Bryan Deforge build in his dedication and honor.

And for our busses we need to equip all school & city busses to double-bus, electric, disability approved, CCTV security cameras safety upgrades as a father who has 2 daughters that take a The Syracuse City School District bus and it still has been passed many times by driver's putting my children plus other children and staff in danger it's time we have way's to catch these driver's and ticket them there is no excuse for passing a school bus or city bus while the bus is dropping off student's or residents. 

We need to redo all physical, mental, & emotional exams for all current & future police officers.

We have one of the highest rates of homeless families and individuals as well as some of them being teens some of them want a better life but Syracuse, NY has taken away rehabs why don't we have one here for drug and alcohol addictions but it don't help that we don't have barely any low-income housing or rehabilitation housing or programs for families or individuals seeking a better life there are many more things that need and seek our urgent attention as well.
