Girls United is a female empowerment service team at Longfellow Middle School that could make a difference in school and in the community. We meet First Block on Thursday (not including service trips), and we do many things in the short time we have. We collaborate on problems facing our community and work to solve them. We do our part to keep Fairfax County clean and happy. Even though we mainly focus on community service (things such as soup kitchens, food drives, helping with festivals, and cleaning up trash) and Skills for Success (Portrait of a Graduate, College Applications, and planning for the future) we also value a sense of community and teamwork. We play a lot of fun games so we can create a safe, welcoming environment. If you want to see Girls United become a real thing, then vote for it! We appreciate your support!
