Good afternoon, faculty allies, students, friends, family, neighbors, graduates, and community members!

Higher education is experiencing a cultural shift that is eroding faculty voice from key decisions that impact our classrooms. That is why we, the Frederick Community College Full-Time Faculty, formed a union this time last year and continue to fight for a fair contract that protects that voice. We need your help.

This Wednesday, 8/28, we are having a Rally for Shared Governance to tell our administration to protect faculty voice and preserve the faculty chair position. Please join us from 12-12:30PM on the central quad between the Cougar Grill and the academic buildings on the Frederick Community College Campus at 7932 Opossumtown Pike.

Our working conditions are our students' learning conditions, and we must all stand together to make sure we have a say in those conditions.
