OPSC has, at long last, arrived at the right conclusion about the recruiting of AEE. There are a lot of people who are working against the goal of preventing the recruitment, however the following arguments are in favors of recruiting AEE candidates based on their GATE scores.

1. GATE is a very standard exam for engineering and is consist of conventional B. tech course.
   
   
2. GATE is standard exam for Graduate engineers for many govt. sectors and PSU's.
   
   
3. The amendment for AEE recruitment through GATE have been notified by OPSC four years ago

5. The last four years have been spent in preparation for this recruitment by many candidates who are now working in private or contractual positions. While leading a stressful life at work while also working excessive hours for preparation for GATE for the event at night.
   
   
6. The course is well defined and very accurate for competitive examination.
   
   
7. Due to the fact that GATE recruiting weeds away all but, the most qualified candidates, the end product of the recruitment process will have a higher overall quality.
   
   
8. As a result of the fact that GATE is held annually while the OPSC AEE is only held once every five years or more, candidates will have a greater number of opportunities to participate in the latter. The students will benefit tremendously from recruitment through GATE.
   
   
9. OPSC previous recruitment questions were copied from very old and out dated books like SS Gupta & SP Gupta. Also, these recruitment exams received high numbers of RTI filing, with OPSC never releasing the response keys to the applicants. GATE as it stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering test engineering aptitude and concepts while the conducting board ensures no questions are being repetitive or copied from any text books.  GATE  being a very transparent procedure, the PSC will not face so much RTI files too.
   
   We as the aspirants who preparing and attempting GATE from are very satisfied with the OPSC's decision of recruitment of AEE through GATE. There are a numerous people who want to halt the recruitment procedure with some illogical arguments. It's high time that the respected high court of Odisha, Chairman OPSC, Secretary of water resources department should stay strong on the existing notification and continue the recruitment process through GATE.
