Lower Makefield Township has embarked on crafting a Master Plan for the future of Patterson Farm . Unfortunately the initial draft of the plan permanently removes the Patterson barn and outbuildings from agricultural use. Farms are more than just open land! Please implore the township ad Hoc committee to rethink this option and SAVE THE BARN so it can continue to serve farmers as it has for centuries. Bucks County, PA ❤️our farmers. Let’s support them!
Please attend the public forum Monday June 26 from 7-9 pm at the Lower Makefield Community Center, 1550 Oxford Valley Road, Yardley, PA, and advocate for a better management strategy that keeps costs low and considers the highest and best use of Patterson Farm for this and future generations. We are not the last generation who will need Patterson Farm to produce food. Barns are essential infrastructure to support agriculture. SAVE THE BARN = SAVE THE FARM.
