Update 3, Over 500 supporters! QLD country life article

Hello Folks,

Thanks very much for your support, I did not expect to exceed 500 supporters, wow. This Petition is visible to the decision makers, and I trust the topic now has their attention thanks to your efforts.

The mayor was unavailable to respond on ABC Far North on Monday, however he has undertaken to respond later this week. I encourage people to tune in during Charlie McKillop's morning program.

Queensland Country Life has released a story on this topic on their website this morning. I assume it will be in the next paper edition.

I spoke to the Mayor and all the councilor's individually yesterday. The conversations were mostly positive. Nobody has yet disputed the data; and I trust there is a good appreciation of the situation now. I understand budget meetings will commence this week.
