We, the undersigned neighbors, customers, and community members, respectfully request that the Folwell Neighborhood Association (FNA) extend the lease for The Dream Shop through June 2026.

The Dream Shop has become a meaningful community space in Folwell. Beyond being a small business, it serves as a welcoming hub where neighbors gather, access culturally rooted wellness and self-care goods, and participate in community-building events. Many residents have experienced firsthand the care, connection, and positive energy the shop brings to the neighborhood.

We recognize that lease agreements involve financial responsibilities and organizational considerations. At the same time, we believe there is strong community value in allowing The Dream Shop additional time to stabilize financially and catch up on any outstanding rent while continuing to serve the neighborhood.

An extension through June 2026 would:

• Preserve a trusted and welcoming neighborhood space
• Support the sustainability of a locally rooted small business
• Maintain positive foot traffic and community activation on the corridor
• Demonstrate FNA’s commitment to collaborative, community-centered solutions

We respectfully ask FNA leadership to work in good faith toward a path forward that allows The Dream Shop to remain in place through June 2026, while addressing any outstanding obligations.
