Millions of Iranians have spent decades demanding freedom, democracy, and respect for human rights. The current Islamic Republic has responded with repression, imprisonment, and violence against its own people while continuing to create instability in the region.

Iranians both inside the country and across the world are calling for a democratic transition. Many see Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi as a unifying figure who can help guide a peaceful transition toward a democratic and secular government chosen by the Iranian people.

No nation desires war or instability. The Iranian people understand the cost of conflict. However, many believe the current regime has left little room for peaceful reform and continues to deny fundamental freedoms.

We therefore call on European leaders and democratic governments to:

• Support the Iranian people's demand for freedom and democracy
• Recognize Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi as a legitimate representative figure for democratic transition
• Maintain pressure on the current regime through diplomatic and economic measures
• Respect Iran’s territorial integrity and reject any attempt to divide the country
• Stand with the Iranian people in their right to determine their own future

A free, democratic, and united Iran would contribute to regional stability, economic cooperation, and stronger partnerships with Europe.
