Susan had court 2/24/2025 for resentencing under 654. “Accordingly, on remand, the court shall punish petitioner under any one, but only one, of the three offenses. Sentence on the remaining counts must be stayed pursuant to section 654 as amended by Assembly Bill No. 518.” People v. Clevenger, No. F082713, 9 (Cal. Ct. App. Nov. 15, 2022)
The judge kept the kidnapping for ransom charge and kept the sentence of Life WITHOUT the possibility of parole and stayed the other two charges.
An appeal has been filed, although our hope is the Governor will commute Susan.
