Petition updateSupport Cariol Horne to Secure PensionSUPPORTERS OF CARIOL HORNE FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY

Cariol HorneBuffalo, NY, United States
Nov 3, 2016
On November 1, 2006, then Buffalo Police
Officer Cariol Horne intervened to stop a fellow
officer from killing a civilian, Neal Mack, during
what proved to be an illegal arrest. Seriously
injured during the altercation, Officer Horne filed
a disability pension application with New York
State in September of 2007. Her application was
denied on the basis that she caused her own
injuries, a conclusion promoted by a series of
corrupt officials: cops, a judge and former NYS
Comptroller.
Bolstered by local and national supporters,
including nearly 170,000 supporters from across
the country, a campaign to convince the current
NYS Comptroller, Thomas P. DiNapoli, to reevalutate
Ms. Horne 2007 pension application will
kick off on November 10, 2016.
Over a 10 day period, all 170,000-plus
supporters of Ms. Horne will be asked to contact
Thomas P. DiNapoli on a daily basis to
encourage him to undertake a re-evaluation of
Ms. Horne's pension application.
