I need help. I'd like to propose a law, called "Cariol's Law", which will protect Officers from any punishment for STOPPING another police officer who is abusing their power against a citizen and any police department that covers up the wrong doings. Right now, laws that support "No Knock Warrants" and "Stop and Frisk", gives the Police Officer full control of a citizen who is just walking down the street or relaxing in the comforts of their home. Those laws are made to keep the justice wheels spinning because one arrest creates many jobs in the justice system such as • lawyers • judges • police officers • correction officers • probation officers • parole officers • prison personnel and ultimately filling the beds of the prisons. Prison is big business, sometimes with big business comes corruption, but at the expense of the taxpayer. Check and see how much your city has paid out in false arrest, police corruption suits in the last 10 years. It would cost less to let an officer, who is already employed to serve and protect, do his/her job and weed out the bad apples from the police departments. “One good apple doesn’t make the whole bunch good, but one bad one can spoil the whole bunch.”
