As a person in business, I support Bill 11-38 introduced by Senator Shawn Gumataotao, which seeks to reduce the Business Privilege Tax (BPT) from 5% to 4%. This tax reduction will provide much-needed financial relief to all Guam businesses, which in turn benefits working families while helping to spur economic opportunities, potentially lower consumer costs, and support long-term sustainability.

A public hearing will take place on June 9, 2025, and by signing this petition, I affirm my support of Bill No. 11-38 and urge the Guam Legislature to pass the bill and for Governor Lou Leon Guerrero to enact the measure into law.
